Wow, that's absolutely stunning! Gorgeous glass and gorgeous pictures.
They were just gorgeous there with the sun shining through them, and the rippling reflections in the water - very hard to quite capture with the camera, but I'm so pleased you enjoyed the pictures! *hugs*
Beautiful pictures! I love Chihuly. We have one of his pieces in my school's music building. Gorgeous!
Thank you, hon! I love him too! It's such awesome work. And how fantastic that you have a piece in your music school! Very, very cool!! :DD
Wow! That glass art is just gorgeous. I love the piece that looks like tongues of flame. Very cool!
The glass was all just incredibly beautiful with the sun shining through it. I'm so glad you enjoyed the photos, dear!! ^.^

My god, that's amazing! It looks like something out of a fantasy world...
Aren't they gorgeous?! I love this kind of stuff, and these were spectacular! :DD
They are! I brought my laptop over to the rehab hospital to show my grandmother, and she was so fascinated by your photos. Thanks for posting them; it was good to see her show interest in something again! :)
Oh, sweetie - that's just awesome - you've just made me so glad I posted these. *hugs tightly*
such great pics! i saw an exhibition of his work at the RISD (rhode island school of design, where he taught) museum a year ago. so impressive.
Thanks, sweetie! The glass was just so stunning and beautiful. :DD RISD is an awesome school - very cool that you got to see his work there!
wow, such great shots. you did a wonderful job of capturing the work. i think i would have filled a whole photo card if i'd been there. i wouldn't have been able to resist just one more snap. he's so creative and the way he uses nature and light and space is just so stunning.
guh, really beautiful, hon. thanks so for sharing.
LOL - yes, I took well over 100 pictures. *grin* It was hard not to keep taking them all from different angles, and close up, or with the sun just so... It was all so gorgeous! :DD He's awesome!
That looks absolutely fantastic. What wonderful ideas.
It was an absolutely gorgeous exhibit! I'm so glad you enjoyed the photos! ^.^
I was left breathless there for a few moments! Amazing, stunning art! *_*
Oh, they are breathtaking, indeed! :DD I love glass so much, and these are just stunning! ^.^
They of course stand up by themselves, but I do love it so much when installations are placed in natural surroundings. It just seems to add so much to things that are seemingly perfect and makes them both more so...ya know? :))
I love them outside! The sun and the water did such amazing things interacting with the glass - just stunning to see!! :DD
Oh, my! Those COLOURS! And as always, your photographic skills are stunning. I like the contrast of glittering and sparkling glass objects and the subdued nature colours. What a charming contrast! <333
Oh, I'm so happy you enjoyed these pictures! *hugs* This was really just amazing to see. The sunlight shining through the glass and the reflections in the rippling water were stunning! The shapes are so organic too - they seemed perfectly placed in the natural settings. I'm definitely going back to see this again. :D
Chihuly’s installations are legendary! Thank you for the extraordinary pics from the exhibit. Among these glass works, the Niijima Floats, Bamboo Reeds, Sunset Boat, & Blue Reeds speak to me on an emotional level. You are so lucky to have been able to see them in person!
They are spectacular, indeed. We went to San Francisco two years ago to see an exhibit there, and I was so excited to find out last fall that this was coming here. Seeing them in person was awesome - the sunlight shining through the glass and the reflections in the water - truly magical! ^.^
I'm friending you so that I know when you upload more drawings & photography. ☙
